Itinerary
- Pick up in the morning from the lobby of your hotel or rental
- Head straight to the whale sharks location (about 45 min boat trip) led by our experienced captain.
- Once we reach the whale shark area, you will slip into the water 2 people at a time, helped and watched by your own guide.
- Once we have finished swimming with the whale shark, we’ll continue our journey to North Beach to enjoy a delicious ceviche.

If the port is closed by the harbor master we can reschedule the trip or we will give you a full refund.
We cannot guarantee how many whale sharks we will see. Sometimes we encounter dozens, while other times we may see only one or none at all (Very rarely). This is an adventure so there’s no way to guarantee that we will find the whale sharks out there, even though we have a high success rate.
10 USD dock fees and national park per person, payable the day of the tour
The duration of the tour typically ranges between 6 and 7 hours, but it is important to remember that this is a wild expedition in open waters. Because we are visiting the whales in their natural habitat, the total time can vary based on several factors:
Location: The distance we need to travel to find the pods can change daily.
Sighting Conditions: The number of whale sharks in the area and their behavior.
Luck: If we are very lucky and find them close to the shore quickly, the tour may be shorter, lasting around 3 to 4 hours.
Our main priority is ensuring you have a high-quality encounter while getting you back to land safely and comfortably.
